Gunnar Freyr Gunnarsson

Born in Denmark and rooted in Icelandic heritage, Gunnar Freyr Gunnarsson blends the essence of these two vibrant cultures in his work. Educated at Copenhagen Business School with a master's degree in Business and Auditing, Gunnar transitioned from a successful career in auditing at PwC to pursue his passion for photography and adventure.

Settling in Iceland in 2014, he has since become renowned as "The Icelandic Explorer," capturing the raw and rugged beauty of Icelandic landscapes through his lens. Today, Gunnar is an official Canon Nordic Photographer and a Squarespace Ambassador, celebrated for his evocative imagery and compelling storytelling.
